September 2021: 9/11 National Day of Service Volunteer Event

September 11 is a federally-recognized National Day of Service. As such, CVNY member companies were proud to come together at Citi Field on September 8th to work with the New York Mets, one of our member companies, and Operation Gratitude to assemble 10,000 care packages for veterans and first responders in the downtown Manhattan and Washington D.C. areas. Operation Gratitude is one of the largest and most impactful nonprofits in the country for hands-on volunteerism in support of military, veterans, and first responders.
